The Toronto Ultra handed the New York Subliners their first loss of qualifying action for the Call of Duty League’s Stage 1 Major, winning a 3-0 decision on Friday.
All three rounds were played on Karachi, and the Ultra dominated, winning 250-92 on Hardpoint, 6-1 on Search and Destroy and 3-1 on Control.
The Ultra tied the Subliners at 5-1 in the qualifying standings with the victory.
In Friday’s other matches, the Minnesota Rokkr swept the Los Angeles Guerrilas 3-0 and the Miami Heretics defeated OpTic Texas by the same score.
Minnesota beat Los Angeles 250-163 on Invasion Hardpoint, 6-5 on Highrise Search and Destroy and 3-1 on Karachi Control.
Miami handled Texas 250-137 on Invasion Hardpoint, 6-2 on Invasion Search and Destroy and 3-1 on Karachi Control.
All 12 CDL teams will play seven qualifying matches ahead of the Stage 1 Major, scheduled for Jan. 25-28 in Boston.
