The New York Subliners maintained their perfect record in qualifying action for the Call of Duty League Stage 2 Major, sweeping the Boston Breach 3-0 on Friday.

The day’s other matches both featured teams erasing a 2-0 deficit. OpTic Texas came from behind to beat Minnesota Rokkr 3-2, and the Las Vegas Legion topped the Miami Heretics 3-2.

New York improved to 3-0. Texas is tied with the Toronto Ultra for second place at 2-0.

All 12 CDL teams will play seven qualifying matches ahead of the Stage 2 Major, scheduled for March 21-24 in Miami. Every team will advance to the double-elimination tournament, with the qualifying matches determining seeding.

Each qualifier win is worth 10 points. The prize pool for the tournament (money and CDL points) has yet to be announced.

The Ultra won the Stage 1 Major in January.

On Friday, the Subliners made quick work of the Breach, prevailing 250-177 on Skidrow Hardpoint, 6-3 on Invasion Search and Destroy and 3-0 on Highrise Control.

The Rokkr looked to be in control of their match when they defeated OpTic 250-143 on Rio Hardpoint and 6-5 on Terminal Search and Destroy. However, Texas rallied to take Karachi Control 3-2, Sub Base Hardpoint 250-245 and Karachi Search and Destroy 6-3.

The Heretics jumped in front of the Legion thanks to a 250-158 win on Invasion Hardpoint and a 6-5 triumph on Karachi Search and Destroy. Vegas responded by capturing Invasion Control 3-1, Rio Hardpoint 250-135 and Invasion Search and Destroy 6-3.

Week 2 action continues Saturday with three matches:
–Las Vegas Legion vs. Toronto Ultra
–Los Angeles Guerrillas vs. OpTic Texas
–Miami Heretics vs. Los Angeles Thieves
