The New York Subliners completed a 3-0 sweep of the Seattle Surge on Saturday to remain undefeated in qualifying action for the Call of Duty League’s Stage 2 Major.

New York won 250-189 on Sub Base on Hardpoint, 6-3 on Terminal Search & Destroy and 3-0 on Highrise Control to improve to 2-0. It beat the Carolina Royal Ravens 3-2 on Friday, the first day of qualifiers.

Frenchman Paco “HyDra” Rusiewiez racked up a match-high 51 kills and posted a plus-1.42 kill-death ratio to lead the Subliners.

All 12 CDL teams will play seven qualifying matches ahead of the Stage 2 Major, scheduled for March 21-24 in Miami.

In other action Saturday, the Boston Breach topped Carolina 3-1, and the Atlanta FaZe downed the Miami Heretics by the same score.

After Boston and the Royals Ravens split the first two maps, the Breach captured Highrise Control (3-2) and Karachi Hardpoint (250-221) to prevail in their first qualifying match. Mexican Eric “Snoopy” Perez finished with 87 kills for Boston, while Isaiah “Gwinn” Gwinn also posted 87 for the all-American Carolina squad.

Miami took Sub Base Hardpoint 250-151, but it was all FaZe from there. Atlanta won Highrise Search & Destroy 6-5, Karachi Control 3-0 and Rio Hardpoint 250-184, getting 79 kills apiece from Americans Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris and Zack “Drazah” Jordan. Pharris had a match-best plus-1.27 K-D.

Eric “EriKBooM” Ferrer supplied 77 kills for the Heretics, whose players all hail from Spain.

Qualifying action continues Sunday with three matches:
–Los Angeles Guerrillas vs. Las Vegas Legion
–Toronto Ultra vs. Minnesota Rokkr
–Los Angeles Thieves vs. OpTic Texas
