The Minnesota Rokkr overcame an early deficit with ease on Saturday, defeating the Miami Heretics 3-1 in qualifying action for the Call of Duty League’s Stage 2 Major.

Miami got off to a strong start with a 250-248 win on Skyline Hardpoint, but it was all Minnesota from there. The Rokkr responded with vengeance, taking Hacienda Search & Destroy 6-5, Protocol Control 3-0 and Vault Hardpoint 250-167 to complete the comeback.

Each of the 12 CDL teams will play seven qualifying matches through March 16, setting up seeding for the Stage 2 Major, slated for March 20-23 in Dallas.

The Boston Breach also had to come from behind for a win on Saturday.

Like Minnesota, Boston faced a 1-0 deficit before getting on track. The Breach prevailed 6-5 on Hacienda Search & Destroy and 3-1 on Vault Control only to have Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 tie the game at 2-2. Boston then wrapped up its victory by blasting Los Angeles 6-2 on Vault Search & Destroy.

In other action Saturday, the Atlanta FaZe completed a 3-0 sweep of OpTic Texas and Cloud9 New York blanked the Toronto Ultra 3-0.
