OpTic Texas and the Toronto Ultra won their matches to remain unbeaten in qualifying action for the Call of Duty League Stage 2 Major on Saturday.

OpTic defeated the Los Angeles Guerrillas in four maps, and the Ultra took down the Vegas Legion in four maps as well. In the day’s other match, the Los Angeles Thieves bested the Miami Heretics in five maps.

All 12 CDL teams will play seven qualifying matches ahead of the Stage 2 Major, scheduled for March 21-24 in Miami. Every team will advance to the double-elimination tournament, with the qualifying matches determining seeding.

Each qualifier win is worth 10 points. The prize pool for the tournament (money and CDL points) has yet to be announced.

The Ultra won the Stage 1 Major in January.

The Ultra began their match with a 250-232 win on Rio Hardpoint. The Legion bounced back to win 6-0 on Rio Search & Destroy, but Toronto took over. The Ultra won 3-1 on Highrise Control and eked out a 250-247 clinching victory on Karachi Hardpoint.

The Guerrillas got a jump on OpTic with a 250-122 victory on Karachi Hardpoint, but then it was all OpTic. They won 6-2 on Rio Search and Destroy, 3-2 on Karachi Control and 250-178 on Skidrow Hardpoint.

The Thieves took a commanding lead on the Heretics, thanks to a 250-215 win on Karachi Hardpoint and a 6-2 victory on Karachi Search & Destroy. The Heretics responded with wins on Highrise Control (3-2) and Invasion Hardpoint (250-223), but the Thieves claimed the match with a close 6-5 victory on Terminal Search & Destroy.

Week 2 action concludes Sunday with three matches:
–Seattle Surge vs. Carolina Royal Ravens
–Minnesota Rokkr vs. Boston Breach
