OpTic Texas and the Los Angeles Thieves won their respective matches on Saturday to advance to the winners bracket final at the Call of Duty League’s Major IV.

Texas swept the New York Subliners 3-0 while the Thieves bounced back from an opening-map loss to pick up a 3-1 victory over the Atlanta FaZe. OpTic and Los Angeles will clash on Sunday to determine which squad advances to the grand final, which will also be held on Sunday.

The loser of the winners bracket final will head to the elimination bracket final, where they will have one last chance to secure a spot in the grand final.

The grand final marks the conclusion of the $500,000 event, with the champion set to earn $200,000 and 65 Call of Duty League points and the runner-up due to receive $120,000 and 50 CDL points.

OpTic had no problem getting by the Subliners, prevailing on Breenbergh Hotel Hardpoint (250-138), Al Bagra Fortress Search & Destroy (6-3) and El Asilo Control (3-1).

Cuyler “Huke” Garland of the United States led Texas with 77 kills and a plus-1.60 kills-deaths ratio, while France’s Paco “HyDra” Rusiewiez notched a team-high 56 kills for New York, which saw none of its players finish with positive K-D differentials.

After dropping Breenbergh Hotel Hardpoint 250-229, Los Angeles bit back. The Thieves captured El Asilo Search & Destroy 6-1, earned a 3-1 victory on Breenbergh Hotel Control and then cruised to a 250-178 win on Zarqwa Hydroelectric to take the match.

Zack “Drazah” Jordan paced the all-American Thieves with 88 kills and a plus-1.33 K-D ratio. Chris “Simp” Lehr had 74 kills and McArthur “Cellium” Jovel chipped in 71 for Atlanta, which also features an all-American lineup.

Despite the losses, the Subliners and FaZe still kept their title hopes alive by taking care of business in the elimination bracket.

Atlanta beat the Toronto Ultra 3-2 behind Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris and Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat, who each dropped 94 kills. “HyDra” put up impressive numbers once again for New York, racking up 86 kills to lead the Subliners past the Minnesota Rokkr, 3-2.

The FaZe opened their elimination-bracket match with a pair of victories, but the Ultra answered with two of their own to draw even at 2-2. On the decisive fifth map, El Asilo, Atlanta won 6-3 on Search & Destroy.

After Minnesota and the Subliners split the first two maps, New York pulled away, winning 3-1 on El Asilo Search & Destroy and 250-150 on Al Bagra Fortress Hardpoint to set up a date with the FaZe in the fourth round of the elimination bracket.

Four matches are scheduled for Sunday:
–Winners final: OpTic Texas vs. Los Angeles Thieves
–Elimination Round 4: Atlanta FaZe vs. New York Subliners
–Elimination final: Winner of Atlanta/New York vs. loser of Texas/Los Angeles
–Grand final: Winner of winners final vs. winner of elimination final
