The Atlanta FaZe swept the New York Subliners to advance to the winners bracket final of the Call of Duty League’s Stage 3 Major in Toronto on Saturday.

The FaZe, who have won six of seven maps in their two matches, will face the Toronto Ultra, who defeated OpTic Texas 3-1 in the day’s other winners bracket match.

Later Saturday, the Subliners and OpTic Texas won their matches in the elimination bracket and will meet on Sunday. New York defeated the Seattle Surge 3-1 and Texas knocked off the Miami Heretics 3-1.

In an earlier elimination bracket second-round match, Seattle had stayed alive with a 3-1 win over the Carolina Royal Ravens.

The team that wins the major will get $150,000 and 100 CDL points. The total prize pool is worth $375,000, with the top eight teams at the event splitting those funds.

Toronto won the Stage 1 Major in January. Atlanta claimed the Stage 2 Major in March.

The top eight seeds started the major in the winners bracket, where four first-round matches were played Thursday. Losers of those matches were sent to the elimination bracket to square off with a bottom-four seed.

The FaZe began their sweep with a 250-148 win on Vista Hardpoint. They finished up with victories on 6 Star Search & Destroy (6-4) and Invasion Control (3-1). Chris “Simp” Lehr of the U.S. led the win with 67 kills for Atlanta.

OpTic Texas won its first map, Sub Base Hardpoint, 250-180 over the Ultra, but Toronto won three straight to advance: 6-2 on Karachi Search & Destroy, 3-2 on Invasion Control and 250-216 on 6 Star Hardpoint. Thomas “Scrap” Ernst of the U.S. racked up 103 kills for the Ultra.

Later, the Subliners came from behind to stay alive. They lost the first map, 6 Star Hardpoint, to the Surge (250-149), but then took three consecutive maps. It started with a 6-3 win on Invasion Search & Destroy, continued 3-1 on Invasion Control and concluded 250-150 on Karachi Hardpoint.

OpTic took the early lead against the Heretics with a 250-195 victory on Sub Base Hardpoint. Miami bounced back with a 6-1 win on 6 Star Search & Destroy. Texas took over from there, winning 3-0 on Highrise Control and 250-225 6 Star Hardpoint.

Much earlier, the Surge fell behind the Royal Ravens with a 250-209 loss on 6 Star Hardpoint. But Seattle roared back with wins on Rio Search & Destroy (6-2), Highrise Control (3-2) and Rio Hardpoint (250-134).
