The Atlanta FaZe continued their perfect start in qualifying for the Call of Duty League’s Stage 3 Major, beating the New York Subliners 3-1 on Sunday.

The FaZe (4-0) got off to a quick start, earning a 250-105 win on Rio Hardpoint and then a 6-5 victory on 6 Star Search and Destroy. The Subliners (1-3) avoided the sweep by taking Highrise Control 3-0. But Atlanta finished it with a 250-157 win on Karachi Hardpoint.

Also on Sunday, the Seattle Surge (3-1) cruised past the Vegas Legion (1-3) for a 3-0 victory and OpTic Texas (3-1) rolled to a 3-1 win over the Miami Heretics (1-3).

All 12 CDL teams will play seven qualifying matches ahead of the Stage 3 Major, scheduled for May 16-19 in Toronto. Every team will advance to the double-elimination tournament, with the qualifying matches determining seeding.

Each qualifier win is worth 10 points. The prize pool for the tournament (money and CDL points) has yet to be announced.

The Toronto Ultra won the Stage 1 Major in January. The Atlanta FaZe won the Stage 2 Major in March.

On Sunday, the Surge didn’t let up against the Legion, winning 250-113 on Vista Hardpoint, 6-4 on Highrise Search and Destroy and 3-1 on Invasion Control.

OpTic Texas also enjoyed a relatively stress-free match against the Heretics, as well. Texas took the early lead with a 250-126 victory on Vista Hardpoint but Miami responded with a 6-5 victory on Highrise Search and Destroy. OpTic Texas took back the lead with a 3-1 win on Highrise Control and then finished it with a 250-217 victory on Karachi Hardpoint.

Qualifying continues on Friday with three matches:
