The Atlanta FaZe finished qualifying action for the Call of Duty League’s Stage 3 Major at 7-0 on Saturday, getting some breathing room in the standings.

The FaZe, who are the last remaining unbeaten team in qualifying, earned a 3-1 win over the Seattle Surge. Atlanta took Karachi Hardpoint 250-175, lost Invasion Search & Destroy 6-4 then won Invasion Control 3-2 and 6 Star Hardpoint 250-148 to finish off Seattle.

The Toronto Ultra, Los Angeles Thieves and OpTic Texas, who were all idle Saturday, are right behind the FaZe in the standings. Each team sits at 5-1 with one more match to play.

All 12 CDL teams are playing seven qualifying matches ahead of the Stage 3 Major, which starts Thursday in Toronto. Every team will advance to the double-elimination tournament, with the qualifying matches determining seeding.

Each qualifier win is worth 10 points. The prize pool for the tournament (money and CDL points) has yet to be announced.

Toronto won the Stage 1 Major in January. Atlanta won the Stage 2 Major in March.

In other action Saturday, the Vegas Legion edged the Boston Breach 3-2 in a battle between struggling teams.

Vegas jumped ahead after a 250-120 win on Rio Hardpoint, but Boston took the next two maps — 6-1 on Rio Search & Destroy and 3-0 on Karachi Control. The Legion rallied to make sure the Breach (0-7) remained winless, taking Sub Base Hardpoint 250-201 and 6 Star Search & Destroy 6-4.

Meanwhile, the Carolina Royal Ravens had to dig out of a hole to top the Minnesota Rokkr 3-1.

Minnesota jumped out to the early lead with a 250-161 win on Vista Hardpoint, but Carolina took it from there, prevailing 6-3 on Rio Search & Destroy, 3-0 on Karachi Control and 250-221 on 6 Star Hardpoint.

Qualifying concludes Sunday with three matches:
–Miami Heretics vs. Los Angeles Guerrillas
–Toronto Ultra vs. New York Subliners
–Los Angeles Thieves vs. OpTic Texas
