Chicago Bulls forward Javonte Green will undergo an arthroscopic debridement of his right knee on Wednesday.
The team announced Tuesday night that Green would be re-evaluated in two weeks. ESPN reported the team is optimistic that Green can return in a month.
Green, 29, had missed the past five games with knee soreness. He also missed five games in December with soreness in the same knee.
Green is averaging 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game in 28 games (one start) this season. He’s shooting 58.7 percent from the floor.
In his fourth season, Green averages 5.2 points in 182 career games (50 starts) with the Boston Celtics (2019-21) and Bulls.
