Britney’s family consists of James ‘Jamie’ Spears, her father who had what Britney called an “abusive” hold on her through a 13 year conservatorship. Lynn Spears is her mother who remained seemingly indifferent to her plight for years on end. However, Jamie Lynn Spears her younger sister is the latest to profit from the pop princess as she shares about her life with Britney.
Two separate hosts Adrienne Bailon from The Real and Akbar Gbajabiamila sided with Britney Spears and called out Jamie Lynn. In separate shows, they made similar points and said that their opinion was that the younger sister should have spoken to Britney behind closed doors. Instead she had exposed her sister in a candid book that has become a best seller, without giving her sister a chance to rebut what she said. Jamie Lynn Spears opinions are totally one sided, as it appears from Britney’s posts.
Another opinion, though a bit jaded, could be that the younger sister knew that a closed door meeting with her sister would bring no financial gains. Many people profit off others and who better than the Pop Princess to profit from? An entire group of people, starting from her parents, to some lawyers as well as some staff, earned their livelihood through a conservatorship of Britney, using the money she herself had earned, to “emotionally abuse” her.

Britney also said that the despite their claims that they were unaware of the situation, her family knew that she was facing abuse.

It must also be remembered how her father used Britney’s money to fight to retain his financial and personal conservatorship over her.
