Anfernee Simons scored 18 of his 30 points after the third quarter as the visiting Portland Trail Blazers overcame an 18-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 107-100 in overtime Saturday.

Jabari Walker added 18 points and 12 rebounds, helping the Blazers post their second win over the Grizzlies in as many nights after snapping a nine-game losing streak with Friday’s 122-92 victory at Memphis.

Delano Banton scored eight of his 10 points in overtime for Portland. Toumani Camara finished with 15 points, Ashton Hagans recorded career highs with 13 points and eight assists and Duop Reath chipped in 12 points.

Memphis led 81-63 early in the fourth quarter before Portland cut the deficit to 95-93 with 44.9 seconds to play. Simons scored 16 points in the period to fuel the Blazers’ rally.

After the Grizzlies’ Jordan Goodwin missed a 3-pointer, Walker was fouled under the basket with 1.3 seconds left and made two foul shots to tie the game.

Santi Aldama and Vince Williams Jr. led Memphis with 21 points apiece. GG Jackson added 17 for the Grizzlies, who lost their fifth straight.

Memphis trailed 25-20 at the end of the opening quarter despite a strong start by Williams, who had 13 points and five rebounds.

The Grizzlies cut into the lead in the second quarter and moved ahead 37-35 on GG Jackson’s trey with 5:36 left in the half. Jackson had 12 points at the half for Memphis, which held a 51-47 advantage at intermission.

The Grizzlies took control early in the third quarter and led 70-53 after Aldama hit a 3-pointer with 6:10 remaining in the period. Memphis held the Blazers to 14 points in the third quarter and took a 78-61 lead into the fourth.

Both teams played short-handed due to multiple injuries. Portland was without Scoot Henderson (left adductor strain), Malcolm Brogdon (right elbow tendinitis), Shaedon Sharpe (lower abdominal surgery), Robert Williams III (right knee surgery) and Deandre Ayton (right hand sprain).

Blazers forward Jerami Grant scored five points before exiting in the second quarter due to right quad soreness.

Memphis’ extensive injury list included Jaren Jackson Jr. (right quad tendon soreness), Derrick Rose (low back soreness), Ja Morant (right shoulder), Desmond Bane (left ankle sprain) and Marcus Smart (right ring finger).
