RBC Capital analysts provided their outlook on BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ:BB) ahead of the upcoming Q3 results, expected to be announced tomorrow.
The company is still in the process of stabilizing its business. The analysts believe BlackBerry will report healthy IoT results, mixed Cybersecurity, and provide some form of an update on its delayed patent sale. As a result, the analysts think BlackBerry will remain a contentious stock. According to the analysts, shares aren’t cheap enough to attract value buyers, while fundamentals will appear challenging to most others.
The analysts expect total revenue to decline 8% year-over-year to $169 million (in line with Street estimate), as lower Cybersecurity and Licensing revenue offset continued IoT growth.
