He is fondly gazing at his little granddaughter while placing a finger on the little kid’s small palm. The baby girl’s face cannot be seen. She is wearing a pink onesie while grandfather Gates is wearing a navy-blue sweatshirt and pants.
Bill Gates added the following caption to the photo: “I can’t wait to watch you discover the world.”
Gates’ ex-wife and philanthropist Melinda French Gates also shared a photo of her holding their granddaughter as she sat on a single seater. The photo shows her holding her granddaughter close to her chest. The first-time grandmother wore orange top and black trousers. She wore small drop earrings and a ring. The baby was swathed in a white blanket with pink hearts.
Melinda French Gates wrote a longer and more emotional caption. It read: “There is nothing quite like holding your first grandchild. It seems just like yesterday I was holding Jenn at this age. Now she has a baby of her own-and I am bursting with pride watching her and Nayel step into their new roles as parents.”
