Beyonce literally shined at the Oscars held this year at Los Angeles, California. The singer was nominated for her song Be Alive in King Richard and performed the song on stage. Although the chart-buster did not win an award, on Oscar night, she outshone all the other celebrities, wearing two tennis themed looks with several million dollars jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz and Tiffany & Co.
Page Six reported that jeweler Schwartz told them that the worth of the jewelry she wore on Oscars night had a value above 9 million dollars. The popular singer performed the song Be Alive from Oscar nominated film King Richard wearing a custom David Koma dress. The color was similar to that of a tennis ball and had matching gloves. The singer, 40 wore Amina Muaddi “Karma” pumps worth $1,345 in a similar shade of lime.
However, the accessories from Schwartz that gained a lot of attention were 150 carat worth diamond bangles as well as two diamond rings: one of which was a 20-carat cushion-cut sparkler and the other was a 50-carat emerald-cut ring. Giant green gemstone earrings, also from the same jeweler completed the glittering look.
She wore a Valentino haute couture dress during the award ceremony. It had a neon hue, keeping tennis as the theme. The outfit was accessorized with long 50-carat waterfall style earrings. She also wore a 35-carat pinky ring from the same designer. She carried a $4,000 tennis-ball shaped clutch from Judith Lieber.
Her third outfit of the night was a barely there outfit. She showed up with husband Jay-Z at an after party hosted by him, in her boldest look to date, in a dress from Celia Kritharioti Couture; once again glittering with diamonds. Her sheer mesh dress had strategically placed silver sequins as well as beads that covered her breasts and continued till floor length.
According to Page Six, this time her diamonds were from Tiffany & Co. she wore a necklace that had made its debut in 1939 at the World Fair. This exquisite piece of jewelry has the famous 80-carat oval-cut Empire Diamond from Tiffany & Co. Its setting had more than 100 carats of baguette as well as round brilliant diamonds.
