Max Strus had 17 points to lead eight Cavaliers who scored at least nine as Cleveland won 112-100 at the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night.

It was the Cavaliers’ 14th consecutive victory, one shy of their season-best streak they started the season with. Donovan Mitchell scored 15, Evan Mobley and Darius Garland added 13 apiece and Jarrett Allen tallied 11. Strus also led the team with nine rebounds.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks, who lost their second in a row, with 30 points and nine rebounds. Damian Lillard added 22 while Kyle Kuzma scored 14.

Cleveland swept the four-game season series against the Bucks for the first time since the 2008-09 season and has won five in a row over Milwaukee overall.

Both teams came out firing, with Cleveland going into the second quarter up 34-32 thanks to 56.5 percent shooting from the floor.

They gained a bit of separation going into the halftime break as they led 62-52.

Strus had 14 of his points in the first half to lead Cleveland while Antetokounmpo had 18 for Milwaukee. The Cavs shot 10-for-26 from beyond the arc (38.5 percent) compared to just 29.4 percent for the Bucks.

In the third, Milwaukee pulled closer but could not get its deficit below four as the Cavs went into the fourth up 84-77. Antetokounmpo and Lillard combined for 14 in the quarter to pull the Bucks closer.

Cleveland proved to be too much in the fourth, shooting 52.6 percent as a team and winning the final frame 28-23. Dean Wade and Isaac Okoro combined for 11 off the bench in the quarter to propel the Cavs.

Milwaukee shot just 9-for-31 (29.0 percent) from beyond the arc, much lower than its 38.4 percent average which had them second in the league behind Cleveland (39.2), which shot 40.4 percent on Sunday.

Cleveland also won the turnover battle 18-15 and led by as many as 19.
