August Alsina New Song Alludes to Jada Pinkett Smith

Celebrity American singer August Anthony Alsina Jr., alias August Alsina, appears to be exhuming the twisted intricacies of their now-defunct relationship in a new song called ‘Shake the World.’ He is the personality that Jada Pinkett Smith acknowledged having an adulterous “entanglement” with.

Alsina sings on the single. His provocative lyrics come in the wake of Will Smith, Pinkett Smith’s spouse of nearly three decades, slapping comedian Chris Rock for taunting the actress about her short hair during the Oscars on March 27.

The R&B vocalist and Jada Pinkett Smith’s former boyfriend, has reportedly alluded to their relationship in the new song, which was released just days after Will Smith assaulted Chris Rock at the Oscars. The not-so-cryptic lyrics were quickly decoded by Twitter detectives, who are now accusing him of reigniting the old fires of his and Pinkett-fling.

Alsina, who formed an incredibly strong and public bond with Pinkett Smith in 2015 and openly confessed to their romantic relationship in 2020, also mentions being canceled after the leading lady disclosed their affair, alongside a bemused Smith, on her Facebook series “Red Table Talk” in July 2020.

Jada appeared to reveal an ‘entanglement’ and type of intimate involvement with Alsina that took place throughout her amicable break with her husband Will. She later denied that Will gave any blessing to Jada and August to be together, so as to suggest an open marriage. In an interview on The Breakfast Club radio, she clarified that Alsina may have viewed it as a blessing due to the couple being on a break and wanted to convey that he was not a homewrecker.

Jaden Smith introduced the singer-songwriter to his mother, and he joined them on a trip to Hawaii in 2016. Alsina was also seen alongside Pinkett Smith at the 2017 BET Awards. The singer claims that Jada and he had had a close emotional bond from the start, which later developed into a romantic relationship that lasted for years until he fell in love with her.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have made multiple headlines in recent years regarding their relationship and whether or not they are married openly. Rumors began to circulate when the Smiths made separate public announcements about their marriage, culminating in Alsina’s account of events.
