Tennis legend Roger Federer is the sports world’s newest billionaire, appearing on the recently announced Forbes World’s Billionaires List.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner and winner of 103 singles titles on the ATP Tour has an estimated fortune of about $1.1 billion, according to Forbes.

Other athletes who have reached billionaire status through a mix of sporting success, endorsements and business ventures include NBA star LeBron James and golfing great Tiger Woods.

Federer, 44, spent 310 weeks at No. 1 in the world rankings, including a record 237 consecutively. The Switzerland native retired in 2022.
