No. 2 seed Sebastian Korda and No. 5 Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada will meet in Saturday’s final at the Adelaide International in Australia.
Korda defeated Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3, 7-6 (4) and Auger-Aliassime upended top-seeded Tommy Paul 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-4 in Friday’s semifinals. Auger-Aliassime has won two of three previous matches against Korda.
While Korda did not face a break point in his 79-minute triumph, Auger-Aliassime saved eight of 12 — three in the deciding set — during a match that lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes. Paul saved three match points in the final game before succumbing.

At age 38, unseeded Frenchman Gael Monfils made history by becoming the second-oldest player to reach an ATP Tour Final since 1990. Croatia’s Ivo Karlovic was 39 when he reached the final at Pune (India) in 2019
Monfils held off 19-year-old Nishesh Basavareddy 7-6 (5), 6-4 in the semifinals in Auckland, New Zealand, and will meet Belgian qualifier Zizou Bergs in Saturday’s championship match. Monfils tallied seven aces and saved all five break points against the unseeded American.
Bergs outlasted No. 7 seed Nuno Borges of Portugal for a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 victory in 2 hours, 16 minutes. Bergs struck six aces and converted six of 13 break chances. The players exchanged five service breaks in the last seven games of the match.
