Ashley Rogers went the distance to keep No. 4 seed Tennessee’s title hopes alive with a 3-1 win over No. 6 seed Oklahoma State on Sunday at the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.

Tennessee (51-9) will play No. 3 seed Florida State in the semifinals Monday and needs to win twice to advance to the championship series, which begins Wednesday. Florida State needs only one win to advance.

Rogers (20-1) gave up the one run on four hits while walking two and striking out four in a 136-pitch performance.

The Volunteers scored a pair in the third inning to take a 2-0 lead. Zaida Puni hit an RBI double off the right field wall, scoring Kiki Milloy, who singled and stole second base. Rylie West plated the second run, hitting a single to left to score pinch runner Brylee Mesusan.

Tennessee padded its lead in the fifth when Puni reached on an error and eventually advanced to third on a fielder’s choice. West, who reached on the fielder’s choice, stole second. Catcher Taylor Tuck’s short-hop throw to second bounced away, allowing Puni to score.

The Cowgirls (47-16) scored their lone run in the sixth, when Morgyn Wynne went deep to left field off Rogers for her 11th homer of the season. Kelly Maxwell (16-7) took the loss, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits in 2 1/3 innings.
