On November 10, Apple updated its Return Policy during the holiday period. It extended the time period within which holiday purchases and gifts could be returned to Apple stores in the US.
Apple posted, “Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between 10 November and 25 December 2020 may be returned up to 8 January 2021. Please note that all other terms and conditions provided in the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased. All purchases made after 25 December 2020 are subject to the Standard Returns Policy.”
Items including Apple and App Store gift are excluded from this extended return policy. However, iPhones, iPads, Mac books and accessories purchased can be part of the extended return under certain terms and conditions. Apple TV and Apple Watch can also be returned under specific terms and conditions.
Apple also released its Annual Gift Guide along with the news of the extended return policy. This guide features Apple products whose graphics reflect special holiday themes and designs to increase the festive spirit in gifting. It also offers suggestions for gifting its products including iPhones, AirPods, HomePod mini and Apple Watch. It also features various Apple Gift Cards.
