Alphabet announced its latest investment in silicon, which is called Google Axion Processors. These new processors have company-registered Arm chips designed for the data center. Axion will be available to Google Cloud later in 2024. CWEB analysts believe that these new processors will increase Alphabet’s stock value after it is introduced later this year, as many large users of Google Cloud have welcomed the latest upgrade to cloud services offered by Google that they will use.
In the Google Cloud blog, Google VP/GM of Machine Learning Systems and Cloud AI Amin Vahdat detailed the possibilities of Google’s first Arm-based CPU, Google Axion. He also posted about the responses of major users of their custom Google silicon.
He also said that Axion processors have combined Google’s silicon expertise with Arm’s highest-performing CPU cores to deliver much better performance and energy efficiency.
Many large Google Cloud customers and partners are enthusiastic about adding application packages built on the new Axiom-based CPU.

Google said that its Titanium system, powered by Google, helps its Axion processors increase capacity and improve customer performance. It also said that its customers were concerned with sustainability and efficiency, and their new Arm-based CPU, Google Axion, increased both performance and efficiency.
Google has launched new products, features, and more in the first few months 2024. Some of its newer offerings are its Gemini AI, lookup features on its Android Google app, and email generation using Gemini.
