Alo Yoga introduces a digital collection in the Metaverse (META). To launch a line of digital Alo wearables, Alo Yoga has partnered with the decentralized virtual environment The Sandbox, according to a press release provided to Retail Dive.
The company said it had previously offered Aspen Collection NFTs, which featured benefits like personalized shopping and entry to the Alo Wellness Club and the upcoming Alo Residences. For the release of the NFT, the brand worked with Web3 firm MoonPay.
According to a press release, The Sandbox has previously collaborated with brands and individuals including Gucci, Warner Music Group, Adidas, Atari, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, and Snoop Dogg.
Wearable choices include a hoodie, sweatpants, and bucket hat from the Alo Yoga line. During Paris Fashion Week, on March 1, the company unveiled the line.
The collection heralds Alo’s entrance into The Sandbox and, according to the firm, aids in the brand’s engagement with its community through decentralized platforms, genuine digital ownership, and special member benefits.
