Chicago Sky guard Allie Quigley will look to win her fourth WNBA 3-point contest title on Saturday afternoon in front of a home crowd.

Quigley, who was raised in Joliet, Ill., will be joined in Chicago by Ariel Atkins (Washington Mystics), rookie Rhyne Howard (Atlanta Dream), Jewell Loyd (Seattle Storm), Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings) and Kelsey Plum (Las Vegas Aces) in the competition.

“I’m so excited to be a part of the All-Star weekend in my hometown,” said the 36-year-old Quigley, who won the event in 2017, 2018 and 2021.

“After winning the event last year I really thought it would be my final time taking part. But the opportunity to compete one more time and to do so in Chicago was too good to pass up. I can’t wait to shoot in front of our home fans; it’s always a great time.”

Plum, who leads the league with 71 3-pointers, joins Atkins, Howard and Ogunbowale as first-time participants in the event. Loyd competed in the 2018 and 2021 event, while Quigley has participated in four previous events.

The 2022 WNBA All-Star Game is Sunday.
