Microsoft (MSFT) is getting ready to host its Build developer conference Tuesday at Seattle, Washington. CWEB believes that the world’s largest hardware and software developer will concentrate on AI, as has its peers. The tech giant’s software Windows Operating System is used on millions of personal computers (PCs) across the world and it is expected that Microsoft will unveil its AI vision for PCs using Windows. The Seattle giant’s Build 2024 has a tagline “How will AI shape your future?”
Microsoft Build is a paid event for those who wish to attend in person in Seattle and a free event who want to attend the event digitally. It will be available as a live stream starting Tuesday May 21 and will continue till May 23, 2024 both online and in Seattle.
Microsoft Build will start on Tuesday May 21, with a keynote by the leadership team at Microsoft including CEO Satya Nadella, Kevin Scott and Rajesh Jha. The event is expected to demonstrate how AI will bring new opportunities and how developers will see a transformation on how they work with the help of AI as well how business productivity across industries will grow using AI.
Microsoft has not indicated what its software and hardware updates would be. There is a huge possibility that Window 11 will get updates and upgrades with the AI of which Microsoft is definitely a pioneer with its huge investments. Many experts believe that there would be a Windows 12 in 2025 rather than 2024 though Microsoft can surprise everyone with a newer OS. Microsoft Copilot AI assistant debuted last year and upgrades and features can also be expected.
It is believed that Microsoft Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 might come with Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite, as Qualcomm has been dropping breadcrumbs about the new silicon.
Microsoft said that it will host sessions such as “AI Everywhere” and “Azure AI Studio” that builds on its commitment to AI at Build 2024 that will begin on Tuesday.
