Alec Bohm drove in the tying and go-ahead runs in the eighth inning and the host Philadelphia Phillies rallied for a 4-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.

Jean Segura, Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos and J.T. Realmuto added two hits each.

The Phillies, who have won two straight, trailed 2-1 but scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth in coming back for their second straight win.

Phillies starter Ranger Suarez was pulled by manager Joe Girardi after tossing 89 pitches in only 4 2/3 innings. Suarez allowed four hits and one run to go along with four strikeouts and three walks.

Nick Nelson (1-0) earned the win in relief and Corey Knebel picked up his third save in three opportunities with a scoreless ninth.

Andrew McCutchen, returning to play against the team he spent the previous three seasons with, had a double, sacrifice fly and walk for the Brewers, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.

Brewers starter Freddy Peralta allowed three hits and one run in five innings. Peralta struck out six and walked two, also throwing 89 pitches.

Left-hander Aaron Ashby (0-2) took the loss in a lengthy relief outing as he was charged with those final three runs on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts.

The Brewers loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the first inning before Suarez recorded consecutive strikeouts and then got Lorenzo Cain to ground out to third base.

The Phillies then went ahead 1-0 in the bottom of the inning when Harper launched an RBI double to left-center two batters after a Jean Segura leadoff single.

Milwaukee tied the game at 1 in the third when Hunter Renfroe hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Willy Adames.

Philadelphia placed runners on first and second with one out in the sixth against Ashby. However, Kyle Schwarber struck out swinging and Bohm grounded out to shortstop to end the threat.

In the seventh, McCutchen followed a walk to Mike Brosseau, a single by Victor Caratini and a wild pitch by lofting a sacrifice fly to right off Jose Alvarado for a 2-1 advantage.

The Phillies loaded the bases with no outs to begin the eighth thanks to consecutive singles from Harper, Castellanos and Realmuto. After Schwarber struck out, Bohm hit a two-strike, two-run single to right off Brad Boxberger for a 3-2 lead. Johan Camargo followed with an RBI single to make it 4-2.
