Jury selection begins Tuesday, July 9, with opening arguments scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, and closing arguments set to start Friday, July 19.

In March, ‘Rust’ armorer Hannah Gutierrez, responsible for firearm safety on the set, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter by a Santa Fe, New Mexico, jury for mistakenly loading a live round into Baldwin’s gun. Gutierrez received the maximum 18-month sentence.
Alec Baldwin faces a felony involuntary manslaughter charge, which carries a potential sentence of 18 months in prison if unanimously convicted by the jury.
