A’ja Wilson poured in 36 points and reached another WNBA milestone as the visiting Las Vegas Aces pulled away to stretch their winning streak to 10 games, defeating the Washington Mystics 91-81 on Saturday afternoon.

Wilson made 14 of 22 shots from the field with one 3-point basket and drained 7 of 8 free-throw attempts to go with 13 rebounds.

Wilson, who has led the team in scoring and rebounding in four consecutive games, has reached the 30-point mark in 10 games this season to become the first player in WNBA history with multiple seasons of 10 or more games with 30 points.

Reserve Dana Evans added 21 points for the Aces (24-14), who began a three-game road swing. Jackie Young had 10 points as Las Vegas shot 52.3 percent from the field.

Kiki Iriafen scored 13 of her 21 points in the first half to lead the Mystics (16-21), who lost their third game in a row. Shakira Austin provided 18 points, and Sonia Citron had 13 points. Iriafen also had 15 rebounds.

Wilson also added to her league-leading total of blocked shots with two rejections. She had 27 points through three quarters. The Aces scored the first six points of the fourth quarter to go up 76-61. Wilson made the final basket for the Aces with 1:44 to play.

Las Vegas finished 10-for-20 from beyond the 3-point arc, while Washington was 4-for-14 from long range. Chelsea Gray and Young delivered eight assists each for the Aces.

Wilson had 17 points on 7-for-11 first-half-shooting as the Storm led 44-39 at halftime.

The Aces turned a 23-8 first-quarter deficit into a 37-32 second-quarter lead.

The Mystics ended the half shooting 40.7 percent from the field and committing eight turnovers, though they were saved by a 16-5 scoring advantage at the free-throw line.
