Winter, a member of Aespa, recently underwent surgery to correct a collapsed lung. Following numerous online articles reporting Winter’s surgery, SM Entertainment, the singer’s agency, officially confirmed the news on April 12, 2024, through a statement provided to South Korean media outlet Newsen. The surgery occurred after Winter returned to South Korea on April 9, 2024, following her appearance on Venue 101, a live music show aired by Japanese broadcaster NHK, on April 6, alongside her fellow group members.
