His voice and his presence kept some darkness in the Dark Knight’s colorful version of the TV show/movie. Even after Batman, Adam West was still an iconic voice actor in animation. Such as the times when he was the Gray Ghost in the Batman TAS episode, “Beware of the Gray Ghost,” and as Mayor West in Family Guy. Adam West always made a TV show  more awesome.
