In “Abigail,” the chilling stakes are set when a band of aspiring criminals abducts the 12-year-old daughter of a formidable underworld figure in this horror- thriller film. With a hefty $50 million ransom hanging in the balance, their only task is to monitor the girl overnight. However, within the confines of an isolated mansion, the captors find themselves dwindling one by one, gradually realizing that they are not dealing with an ordinary little girl.
Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, with a screenplay by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick, “Abigail” is a forthcoming American monster horror film that serves as a reimagining of the 1936 Universal Classic Monsters film, “Dracula’s Daughter.”
