Walmart, the nation’s largest retailer, is known for its deep discounts and great deals throughout the year, with exceptional deals during the holiday season. A simple traditional T-shirt that was promoted by an influencer has gone viral for its versatility and its low-price tag. The $12 T-shirt from Walmart has become a new wardrobe staple for many, leaving behind empty shelves at the big box retailer as stocks fly off the shelves.

Popular fashion bloggers and influencers have touted the T-shirt for its many uses. However, it was influencer and entrepreneur Courtney Grow who made it go viral. Grow dedicated a full page called “The Walmart T” to the T-shirt, on her social media account.

Free Assembly manufactures the T-shirt that is sold at Walmart. Earlier, when the posts went viral, there were fewer color options. The viral T-shirt that was priced $9 when it went viral last summer is available at $12. Now, there are twenty-three color options on the Walmart website.

Duprie, who is the CEO and founder of the popular brand Damsel in Dior said that Grow had brought her attention to the simple, yet versatile T-shirt and she had also picked up these T-shirts in a couple of colors.

Walmart, the largest retailer in the U.S. sells its merchandise online and in-store. It always advocates that it provides the best possible quality at the best possible price. It offers deep discounts, clearance sales, a free Walmart app with additional discounts, Walmart+ subscriptions, several credit cards and other facilities to make the shopping experience easy as well as reasonably priced for its customers.
