Tyrese Maxey scored 31 points, Joel Embiid added 29, and Trendon Watford recorded his first career triple-double as the Philadelphia 76ers beat Toronto 130-120 on Saturday to snap the visiting Raptors’ four-game winning streak.

Watford had 20 points, a career-high 17 rebounds and 10 assists in his first start of the season for Philadelphia, which snapped a two-game losing skid. Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 19 points, Quentin Grimes had 13, and VJ Edgecombe had 11.

RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley scored 22 points apiece to lead the Raptors. Brandon Ingram (21), Scottie Barnes (18), Collin Murray-Boyles (12) and Sandro Mamukelashvili (10) also scored in double figures.

Toronto pulled within 119-116 on Barrett’s 3-pointer with 3:25 left before Embiid’s tip-in capped a 6-0 run and gave the Sixers a 125-116 lead with 1:55 remaining.

Embiid played a season-high 26 minutes and was 1-of-4 shooting from 3-point range. Maxey hit a long jumper with 1:15 left to put the Sixers ahead 127-118 and help seal the victory.

Toronto made 10 of its first 12 shots from 3-point range before shooting 23.1 percent (6 of 26) from beyond the arc for the rest of the game.

Playing on the second night of a back-to-back, the Raptors scored 43 points in the first quarter and held a 10-point lead at the end of the period after shooting 80% (8 of 10) from 3-point range.

After Toronto extended its lead to 51-37 with 9:21 left in the second quarter, Philadelphia clamped down on the defensive end and closed the half on a 31-12 run to move ahead 68-63 at intermission.

Maxey had 17 points in the first half for the Sixers, who carried their momentum into the third quarter.

Watford scored six points during a 9-0 run to give Philadelphia a 91-80 advantage with 5:19 left in the third period.

After the Sixers took a 13-point lead on Justin Edwards’ trey with 2:24 left in the quarter, Toronto closed on a 13-4 run to cut the deficit to 101-97.
