Directed by Asif Kapadia, “2073” features a screenplay by Kapadia and Tony Grisoni and is inspired by Chris Marker’s “La Jetée.” George Chignell and Asif Kapadia produce the film, which has a talented cast that includes Samantha Morton, Naomi Ackie, and Hector Hewer.
Bradford Young provides the striking cinematography, Chris King handles the editing, and Antonio Pinto composes the music. “2073” is a collaboration between production companies Double Agent and Film4 and is distributed by Neon. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival on September 3, 2024, and runs 85 minutes.
