President Donald J. Trump has asked his advisers to be prepared to give us a full range of options to remove North Korea’s nuclear threat”: US National Security Adviser H R McMaster.

North Korean state media released an official statement on Tuesday threatening the United States with a nuclear attack if there are any signs of US ‘aggression’ from the recently deployed Navy Strike group, reports Yahoo News.

“Our revolutionary strong army is keenly watching every move by enemy elements with our nuclear sight focused on the U.S. invasionary[sic] bases not only in South Korea and the Pacific operation theatre but also in the U.S. mainland,” read the statement.

The American military sent the warships to the western Pacific as North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un continues to test ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads.

Earlier Tuesday, President Trump urged China to help control the dictator, but also said the US would ‘solve the problem without them’. US and Chinese officials met over the weekend to discuss a host of issues, including the ‘North Korean problem’.

Kim Jong Un has been on edge since President Trump ordered an airstrike against an airbase in Syria last week, signaling the President’s firm commitment to curtail North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.

Military experts predict the dictator will conduct another nuclear missile test this weekend to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the birth of North Korean founder Kim Il Sung.
