Nunes intelligence reports Russian interference – CWEB.com
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes on Wednesday accused Democrats of hampering the investigation into Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election. This once again underscores the need for an independent, bipartisan commission to investigate Russian interference in our election. It’s the only way to get answers for the American people that will rise above the growing cloud of partisan bias.
Today House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes says he had to view classified documents on White House grounds because the intelligence community had not yet provided them to Congress.
Devin Nunes told that he ended up meeting his source on the White House grounds because it was the most convenient secure location with a computer connected to the system that included the reports. “We don’t have networked access to these kinds of reports in Congress,” Nunes said. He added that his source was not a White House staffer and was an intelligence official.
