United States senate internet privacy – CWEB.com

The United States Senate just voted and passed a bill that will allow Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to sell your internet browsing history. It passed in the Senate 50-48.┬áThe data is labelled “anonymous” and may remove identifiers like email address and physical addresses entered in web forms and other variants to try and scrub some of that personally identifiable information. You will be able to see from the data that a person searched for song lyrics, if cooking a whole turkey in the microwave is possible, how many points does a utensil have to have before you can call it a fork, etc.
